I’m Coming Back to Medium

Like anybody cares!

It’s been seven months since I sat down, wrote something, and submitted it to Medium. It’s also been seven months since I’ve written anything, but a check. I do admit that I have been on Twitter though. I guess it seemed easier to read tweets from like minded people, retweet the good ones and occasionally fire off a line or two of vitriol directed at Trump or the fascist Republicans. There are a lot of reasons why I haven’t been writing on Medium and even my personal blogs.

I’ve been busy this summer with my garden and yard work and I just haven’t found the energy in the evenings to use my brain to conjure up any articles. I don’t think Medium is the place to ask for money, no matter what the reason. Maybe a Facebook page would be more appropriate.

In the past few days, after observing what has been happening in Florida and Texas, I have realized those occasional tweets I have been writing on Twitter do little to soothe my seething anger directed at our own American Taliban, formerly called the Republican party. Today while at the gym I was on an elliptical machine which, unfortunately, was squarely behind a…
